Passengers travelling with infants are also permitted One collapsible stroller/push chair, an infant carrying basket, or a car seat may be carried onboard subject to the availability of space.
Travel using another carrier and connecting to a Caribbean Airlines flight If your journey involves another carrier, you should check your carry-on allowance with the airline/airport before travelling. However when connecting to Caribbean Airlines, our carry-on allowances will apply.
Special needs passengers Passengers with special service needs may travel with their own mobility aids such as wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, scooters or any other special equipment required for their comfort or convenience in connection with their journey. If these cannot be carried in the passenger cabin they shall be loaded in the aircraft hold. These mobility aids are accepted free of charge.
Security restrictions Restrictions on the quantity of liquids allowed through airport security vary according to each country. Other security restrictions will also be enforced. For a detailed list of prohibited items and a comprehensive guide please visit the respective country’s website:

Note: These limitations are intended for your comfort and safety. All baggage must be completely stowed before the aircraft can depart from the gate. The use of equipment such as portable radios, TVs, cellular telephones, video cameras and some electronic toys will not be permitted during the flight Laptop computers may be used during the flight.

These are the free checked baggage allowances you are allowed to check in for your flight. When travelling on a codeshare flight the operating carrier’s baggage policy will apply.
Boxes may form part of one's free checked baggage allowance except during embargo periods. All boxes must meet maximum dimension and weight limitations as indicated below.
Excess baggage charges will apply for an additional bag or box you may want to check in and embargo restrictions apply. Pay particular attention to our policy regarding restricted items as it applies to your checked baggage. Overweight bags are permitted up to 32 kg. Oversized bags are not permitted; exceptions apply to oversized sporting equipment and musical instruments only.

We allow certain types of sporting equipment and musical instruments which may form part of your free checked baggage allowance. The maximum weight allowed per items is 23kgs (50lbs) and maximum dimensions (H+W+L) is 157cms (62 ins). Oversized sporting equipment and musical instruments will be permitted as excess baggage on a standby basis, at the applicable excess baggage charge. Excess baggage will not be accepted to/from Venezuela.

Description |
| Archery |
|
Equipment accepted consists of one bow, one quiver and arrows. To be carried in a proper soft or hard standard bow and arrow case. |
|
| Bicycle |
|
Cycling equipment accepted consists of one (1) single seater, non-motorised; touring or racing bicycle. The cycle must be placed in a cardboard container, pedals and handlebars should be encased in plastic foam or handlebars are fixed sideways and pedals removed. In the interest of safety, tyres should be deflated. |
|
| Boogieboard |
|
Also known as a body board, this is a rectangular piece of hydrodynamic foam. The boogie board must not exceed 62ins and fins must be padded and taped to avoid damage. |
|
| Cricket |
|
Equipment accepted is bats, wickets, pads and balls. This must be stored in a recognised cricket coffin or soft team bag. |
|
| Field Hockey |
|
Equipment accepted is sticks, balls and pads in one equipment bag. Accepted travel cases are standard team kit bag not exceeding maximum baggage dimensions. |
|
| Fishing Equipment |
|
Fishing equipment may only be accepted when it is properly encased and it consists of 1 fishing tackle box, 1 landing net, 1 pair of fishing boots, 1 reel and up to 2 rods. |
|
| Golf Equipment |
|
Accepted golfing equipment consists of 1 golf bag, up to 14 golf clubs, up to 12 golf balls, and 1 pair of golf shoes. |
|
| Guitar |
|
Accepted in hard carrying case. |
|
| Ice Hockey |
|
Equipment accepted is a team kit including sticks, helmet, skates, pads, pucks, gloves etc. Accepted travel case is a recognized ice hockey kit or team bag. All stick bags will be accepted but these will incur excess baggage charges. |
|
| Lacrosse |
|
Equipment accepted are lacrosse sticks, helmet, pads and balls carried in one recognized team or kit bag. |
|
| Scuba Equipment |
|
Scuba/diving equipment consisting of not more than one (1) each of the following: empty scuba tank, air supply regulator, tank pressure gauge, tank harness, face mask, pair of diving fins, snorkel, knife, safety vest, air pistol, spear gun, and a weight belt is permitted. Knives must be carried in checked baggage, spear guns must be unloaded with spears packed separately, and compressed air/gas tanks will be accepted only if empty and open. Flares are not accepted. |

Snow / Water Skiing Equipment |
|
Snow / water skiing equipment consist of: - One pair of skis, one pair of ski poles, and/or one pair of boots , or - One snowboard, one pair of boots, or - One pair of standard water skis or one slalom water ski |

Equipment Caribbean Airlines does not carry as carry-on or checked baggage Due to the large size and handling complexities, some sporting equipment cannot be accommodated through our airport baggage system or within our aircraft hold. Therefore we no longer accept as baggage equipment for the following:
