On Thursday 17 May, Caribbean Airlines was awarded the Federal Express 'Best of TIC 2012 Booth Award', in the large exhibit category by the Trade and Investment Convention (TIC). Caribbean Airlines took the coveted prize for the second consecutive year, at the Hyatt Regency in Port of Spain.

Caribbean Airlines Senior Marketing Manager, Alicia Cabrera noted "We are the Caribbean's' leading airline and we are honoured to receive this award. We were happy to see our customers have fun as we focused on activities to engage and excite them, while sharing the value added benefits of flying on Caribbean Airlines."

A team of Caribbean Airlines flight attendants were also on hand to welcome visitors to the booth, creating the true "warmth of the islands" for which the airline's in-flight experience is known. The Caribbean Airlines booth featured several interactive elements, where visitors used their skill to build model planes and make paper planes that brought back some of our customers' childhood days for the chance to win a trip to any of the airline's destinations. Customers also took photos which were uploaded to the airline's Facebook page for a chance to win a trip on Caribbean Airlines.

The booth saw many high profile visitors including the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Honourable Stephen Cadiz, the US Ambassador, Neil Parson, Minister of Food Production, Land and Marine Affairs, Senator the Honourable Vasant Bharath, along with a number of International and Regional Ministers and business executives.
