On 28 January 2011 Caribbean Airlines added 3,148 more seats to its inventory increasing its existing capacity for its domestic operations especially for the upcoming Carnival period. Ten of these extra flights will be jet services in addition to the Dash 8 equipment commonly used on the domestic route.
