Caribbean Airlines wishes to advise that Unite, the trade union that represents British Airways’ (BA's) cabin crew, announced that industrial action will take place between 22 December 2009 and 2 January 2010. British Airways has reassured its customers that its flights will continue to operate as normal at this time.

The airline has indicated that it intends to inform affected customers directly if they are in possession of their e-mail addresses or by SMS text if mobile phone number information is provided. Contact details provided at the time of booking will be used. Therefore, customers are asked to ensure that these are up-to-date. In addition, British Airways has provided detailed information on its website where passengers can update their contact details.

The airline has noted that Openskies, codeshare and franchise flights will also continue to operate normally. Customers making reservations though travel agents are asked to contact them directly. For more information log onto www.ba.com.
