Available seats increase by 6,316 between 13 August and 15 September

To accommodate more flying options during the busy summer travel season, Caribbean Airlines, Ltd., this week added 6,316 seats to its flight schedule between Trinidad and Tobago effective 13 August until 15 September 2008.

In total, Caribbean Airlines offers 86,976 seats between Trinidad and Tobago over the specified travel period. “Caribbean Airlines was able to increase its domestic flight schedule as part of a collaborative effort with the Tobago House of Assembly and the Ministry of Works to extend the operating hours of Crown Point International Airport by two hours to midnight,” said Caribbean Airlines CEO Philip Saunders. “This effort also is in cooperation with the Director General Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago. We are pleased that by working together Caribbean Airlines could enhance the schedule to provide more flying opportunities for those travelling to and from the sister isle.”

To assist customers in easily viewing the number of available seats between the islands, Caribbean Airlines launched an innovative new “Trinidad & Tobago Flights” tool at www.caribbean-airlines.com. The easy-to-view, online display provides an up-to-date summary of the available seats on each flight over the next 30 days.

To use this new online resource, customers can go to the Caribbean Airlines’ homepage and click on the “Trinidad & Tobago Flight” button on the right side of the screen, or select the link from the “Plan Your Trip” page.

While they are online, customers can proceed to purchase tickets at www.caribbean-airlines.com for added convenience.

As a courtesy to other travellers, customers are encouraged to contact Caribbean Airlines if their flight plans change and they no longer need their seat reservations. By doing so, the seats will be made available for others to book in advance.
