Caribbean Airlines is further enhancing the travel experience with the upgrade of its Unaccompanied Minors Service, which came into effect on May 23, on all Caribbean Airlines direct and connecting flights.

This service provides unaccompanied traveling minors, between ages 5 to 11, with a Caribbean Airlines agent escort upon check-in. Unaccompanied minors (UMs) remain under the supervision of a Caribbean Airlines representative for the duration of their flight, until handed over to the care of a pre-arranged authorized guardian at the arrival city. The Unaccompanied Minors service is optional for children between the ages of 12 to 15 traveling alone. Children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a passenger 16 years or older to be accepted under CAL’s UM care.

At Caribbean Airlines we pride ourselves in the exceptional care we take of our special passengers, and parents can rest assured that their children will be in the most capable care of our trained and professional airline staff, as safety, reliability and comfort are our priorities.

The Unaccompanied Minors Service must be requested at the time of flight booking. A service charge of U$75.00 per child, one-way is added to the ticket fare.
